Hi, Iā€™m keely.

Mahalo for stopping by! I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in both California and Hawaii, meaning I can see clients from both states, no matter where you are located in those states thanks to telehealth. I also offer in-person therapy to those living in Santa Barbara County, specifically in Solvang, California and soon will be offering it in Honolulu, Hawaii.

I am a Mom to 2 young children and a wife who lives in both Hawaii and California. I love my family, roses, pickleball, the ocean and yerba mate tea. When I am not working I am either playing with my kids, working out, at the beach, or playing pickleball.

I have been working in the mental health field for over 13 years. My background consists of working in community mental health (in both Santa Barbara County, CA and Honolulu, HI), school counseling, and then most recently private practice (about 5 years now).

I absolutely love what I do and feel honored to support those who choose to work with me.

My Approach

By its very nature, therapy varies as much as individual people vary. Because of this, I tailor therapy to each client's particular needs and goals. People are helped in different ways and I specialize in finding the best way for each client to learn, grow, and attain his or her goals.

My model of counseling takes a collaborative, compassionate, non-judgmental approach to empower you to recognize and utilize your strengths as a means of moving through sadness, anxiety, and fear. I am a real person and use myself as a tool in my work with clients, meaning you will know about me and my life and my experience in working with you. I believe having this honest, open dialogue with clients helps in the relational piece of therapy and helps you do better work.

My goal is to help you process difficult challenges and events that may have occurred in your life to support you in moving toward increased healing and wholeness.

I welcome the opportunity to support you in a safe, non-judgmental space to explore, heal, and maintain a healthier, more productive approach to life.

You CAN have the life you want! You CAN have fulfilling and supportive relationships. I welcome the opportunity to support you in a safe, nonjudgemental space to process these difficult things.

Since seeking therapy can be scary, I commend you for taking this first step.
