BEGIN YOUR healing JOURNEY.
individual therapy
Are you a high school student and overwhelmed by your responsibilities and expectations? Are you a recent college grade (or have one living with you) and trying to find your way? Are you a new parent struggling with your new role and don’t know where to turn? Maybe you’ve been to therapy before and had experiences in your life that have been traumatic (big t and little t) and you can’t seem to get over it no matter what you do.
If this sounds familiar, I promise, you’re not alone. You’re not broken or bad…you are a human being dealing with life, which can be hard sometimes! And the truth is, everyone deserves a person that they can talk to, including YOU.
Some of the areas I have covered with clients in individual counseling include:
Grief / Loss / Bereavement
Repeating Unhelpful Patterns
Self-Esteem & Self-Image
Stress Management
Trauma, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
LGBTQ+
Teens/transitional-age youth
Auto-Immune Disease
Life Transitions (i.e., having children, moving, empty nest, retirement, etc.)
Transitional-age youth (high school students and college students)
Depression, Post-partum Depression
Processing Emotions
Anxiety & Phobias
Coping Skills
Family Relationships
Whether or not you see your specific issue listed here, that’s okay. The manner in which I conduct individual therapy is flexible, creative and, most importantly, client-centered. Together we will address your concerns and find ways to increase your happiness and satisfaction with your life.
couples counseling
Are you recently engaged and want to start your marriage off right with greater understanding and support of one another?
Did you and your partner recently having a kid and you are struggling to reconnect?
Have you and your partner been together for what feels like forever and your relationship is at a standstill?
Do you feel like you and your partner are drifting apart?
In couples counseling, partners learn to be emotionally available for their partners, empathetic and engaged with each other, strengthening their attachment bond and the felt sense of safety between them. New positive cycles of emotional responses are developed and create a permanent change in the relationship, creating a healing environment for both partners.
Keely is a Prepare/Enrich facilitator and uses the curriculum as a tool in supporting her couples reach their goals. Learn more about it here.

Emdr
what is emdr?
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is quite a mouthful, hence, why we call it EMDR. EMDR Therapy, developed by Dr. Francine Shapiro in 1987, hones the brain’s innate healing potential to transform traumatic or distressing memories into “just” memories. A client described this well when she said, “before EMDR the memory felt bright red and now it’s a soft shade of pink.” Dual attention stimulation (DAS), which simply means alternating right-left stimulation of the brain, is used in-part to facilitate this change. Bilateral eye movement (the EM of EMDR), tapping, and/or tones are all forms of DAS. It’s amazing what can happen when we stop talking, tune inward, and give our bodies space to heal. Much like a broken bone may heal inside a cast, our brains may heal within the framework of EMDR.
postpartum support
Are you an expecting or new parent that is feeling overwhelmed, stressed, lonely or depressed? Does your anxiety feel like it's taking over your life? Are the challenges of parenting creating turmoil in your marriage? Are you experiencing grief due to infertility or pregnancy loss and need support? Are you not sleeping and don’t know what to do? Are you thinking about sleep training and don’t know if you should or not? The reasons for counseling are endless. Although finding the courage to seek therapy can be challenging, choosing that path can be life changing, especially in the early years of parenthood.
Keely supports those with anxiety, depression, and perinatal/postpartum challenges. Having been a new mom herself, she understands how hard the process can be. Whether you decide to sleep train or not, she can help you find a path that is right for you no matter what you choose is best for your family. She is not here to provide advice or tell you what to do, but rather guide you on a journey of self-discovery so that you can make the best choices for you and your family.
fees/insurance
I do not accept insurance, however, I do provide all clients with monthly superbills in which they can submit to insurance for reimbursement of funds. Many of my clients do this and do not have trouble so long as they stay on top of it.
My fee for individual therapy is $150/hour and my fee for couples is $200/hour.
I do offer a sliding scale.
